Dolphin Tours – Eco Tours Savannah and Tybee
Experience Dolphins in Their Habitat
Explore the creeks and rivers of one of the largest marine estuaries on the east coast on our USCG certified vessels. On your dolphin / eco tour in Savannah’s waterways, you will discover a huge network of wetlands, streams, and sand bars that provide a breeding ground and nursery for many species of plants, fish and shrimp.
Tours depart daily (weather permitting) from the marina for discovery of the Bottle Nose dolphin. The tour lasts approximately 60-90 minutes and takes you out on a 40-foot pontoon boat, where you will cruise the marshlands spying for pods of dolphin, shorebirds wading in the shallows, schools of fish, legions of fiddler crabs, pelicans flying overhead and jumping mullet.
Bring your camera, because there will be plenty of opportunities for good pictures! Our experienced captains narrate the tour and provide insights into the marshland ecology, as well as local stories and folktales.
